The
grounds and gardens are a very important component of Hewlett
House. They will be a celebration of life. The grounds are
ideal for maintaining growth that is indigenous to Long Island
and requires no chemical applications. All of the gardens
and grounds of Hewlett House will be organic. Lectures and
workshops will focus on protecting the environment, alternatives
to pesticide use, cancer mapping, water and air pollution
and other concerns.
